What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a backend role at a smaller company where I can see the impact of my work.

At Zalando, I owned and maintained six Kotlin and Spring Boot services that calculated delivery options and shipping fees for checkout and the mini cart.

I took ownership of a legacy pricing service rewrite, redesigned its business logic and API contract with the checkout team, and delivered sub-10ms response times on a latency-critical path.

I also introduced a hot-reloadable JSON configuration system, so product teams could ship routine fee updates through pull requests without redeployment. In Article Ingestion, I maintained catalog pipelines and contributed to a modern Scala-based partner pipeline.

Since August 2025, I’ve been the founder of gatiwear.store. I’m looking for a backend role at a smaller company where I can see the impact of my work.
