I'm currently supporting Volunteers of America as a Senior Bookkeeper/Secretary, collecting and reconciling checks across three housing locations and entering payments in Excel and Yardi.

I investigate tenant-ledger discrepancies with Property Managers and Case Managers, calculate tenant income portions, process adjustments, and support lease signings, overdue-rent notices, receipts, and eviction procedures.

Previously, I worked as a Staff Accountant - Cash Receipts Temp at Volunteers of America, validating deposits and transmittal logs, preparing cash receipts journals, reconciling bank activity, and uploading documentation to Microsoft Business Central.

My experience also includes invoice processing, petty-cash reconciliation, Sage batch and invoice creation, ticket-order reconciliation, and accurate data entry. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from York College and am seeking a long-term accounting role where I can contribute to company goals.
