At Lighthouse Roofing & Exteriors, I implemented QuickBooks Online from scratch as the company’s accounting system of record, moving its books from cash-basis to accrual-basis accounting and establishing monthly reconciliations.
I built the company’s first formal annual budgets and reporting process for a roughly $7M business. During that work, COGS fell an average of 6.09% per year, and net income per job grew 57.3%.
I also developed AP controls and payment scheduling, introduced a weekly customer follow-up process for outstanding payments, and handled tax and compliance filings. I researched worker-classification guidelines and managed the transition of employees from subcontractor to W-2 status.
Across finance and operations, I migrated the company from AccuLynx to Monday.com for about 50 users and used Zapier to automate steps between systems. My earlier i9 Sports experience included site management, scheduling, logistics, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation.
