Cybersecurity professional with hands-on experience in security monitoring.
What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated cybersecurity professional with hands-on experience in security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and incident response. My journey in cybersecurity began during my studies at USIU-Africa, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Technology, concentrating on Forensics and Cybercrime. I have developed a strong foundation in various security frameworks, including ISO 27001 and NIST CSF, which I applied during my internship at USIU-Africa, where I monitored SIEM alerts and conducted vulnerability scans.
Currently, I work as a QA Engineer at Techno Brain Group Limited, where I design and maintain automated test suites that enhance security testing within CI/CD pipelines. My collaboration with cybersecurity teams has allowed me to validate secure configurations and monitor application security effectively. I am passionate about promoting cybersecurity awareness and have organized workshops to engage diverse audiences, driving improvements in phishing detection rates. I am eager to leverage my skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
