James Onimisi Shaibu

Currently serving as a Senior Nursing Officer, I am responsible for clinical leadership, care coordination, and implementing patient care plans. My role also involves patient assessment, education, quality improvement, and staff supervision, training, and mentoring.

As a Nursing Officer, I managed emergency responses, performed triage, phlebotomy, and cannulation. My duties included assessing wounds, immobilizing fractures, suturing lacerations, dressing wounds, assisting in surgical operations, and managing burns.

During my nurse internship, I handled patient admissions and assessments, including history taking, vital signs, anthropometrics, urinalysis, blood glucose, and sample collection. I was also responsible for medication administration, patient education, documentation, referrals, teaching, and counseling.

Completed a comprehensive Bachelor of Nursing Sciences program. Gained expertise in various aspects of nursing care, preparing for a career as a Registered Nurse.
