Chimazuru Onuoha

I am a compassionate, newly qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong academic foundation in nursing science and hands-on clinical training at a federal tertiary health facility, Federal University Teaching Hospital, Owerri (FUTHO).

During my clinical rotation (2022–2025), I performed comprehensive patient assessments on admission and throughout care, monitored and recorded vital signs, and administered prescribed medications safely and accurately while maintaining complete nursing documentation.

I approach every patient interaction with empathy, attentiveness, and a commitment to dignity. I also support patients and families through clear, culturally sensitive education, participate in ward rounds, and contribute to care plan modifications within multidisciplinary teams.

I am trained across fundamental nursing care—wound dressing and aseptic technique, oxygen therapy, IV line management, infection control practices, and the full nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation). With certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS (plus CPR, AED & First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens prevention), I’m prepared to respond effectively in emergency and critical situations, such as COPD management, while staying focused on safe, evidence-based practice.
