In my current role as Senior Nurse in Health Information Systems at San Fernando Teaching Hospital, I lead the integration of nursing practice with IT systems to strengthen patient-care quality and data accuracy. I train and support nursing staff using new digital tools and health information systems.
Previously, as a Senior Nurse in a managerial position, I supervised and mentored nursing staff, coordinated multidisciplinary care, and managed staffing and equipment to improve ward efficiency and patient outcomes.
My foundation includes administering chemotherapy and monitoring adverse reactions in the Hematology Unit, alongside work on a Surgical/Urology ward. I bring team leadership, time management, clear communication, and a commitment to safe, high-quality care.
