Jacob Nyamira

I’m a dedicated ICT professional with experience supporting AI work through data annotation, data labeling, and data analysis training. I help teams and learners understand annotation tools, data management processes, and how to improve dataset quality.

As a Data Annotation and Analysis Coach with the World Food Programme (WFP) under the IMPACT AI Project, I trained participants on data annotation and data analysis techniques and supported AI-related project activities. I collaborated with project teams to improve training outcomes and digital skills development.

Before that, I worked as a Data Annotator for Corsali (Microwork Platform) and the Valora App Developers. I performed data annotation and labeling for AI and machine learning projects, conducted quality checks for accuracy and consistency, and assisted in organizing and processing digital data.

I’ve also volunteered with WFP under the Empact program, strengthening my digital empowerment and ICT-related programme experience while building skills in computer programming and teamwork. I continue to grow through certifications like Google Digital Garage, FutureLearn, UNDP, and Python Mastery, and I’ve participated in WFP hackathons as a Python MC, including a winner recognition.
