What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an engineering role where I can build reliable backend and database systems, learn fast with a strong team, and apply hands-on experience from projects and IBM mainframe training to ship impactful features.

I’m a computer science student who loves building software that’s both practical and well-structured—from language tooling to databases and full-stack apps. I focus on turning requirements into working systems with clear design decisions.

In my projects, I built a “Scheme-Like language interpreter” by implementing lexical scanning, AST parsing, and tree-walk evaluation in both Java and Python, and I added a standard library with lambdas, closures, and recursive functions. I also created a secure “File transfer server” in C++ with encrypted messaging over Unix sockets, plus persistence-backed storage with robust error handling.

On the product side, I designed a full relational database for “LUshop” using ER diagrams, normalization, and SQL, then connected it to a Java frontend with query-focused thinking. For a team “Social Media app,” I developed a REST API backend (Java/Javalin), a Vue.js frontend, and an Android client, implementing OAuth2 authentication and deploying cloud components with PostgreSQL.

Outside coding, I gained real-world systems exposure as a “Mainframe IT intern,” working with IBM z/OS administration, DB2, RACF, and IMS databases while collaborating with an offshore team to troubleshoot critical errors and reduce downtime. In parallel, my store experience strengthened my adaptability across cashier, food preparation, and inventory management—skills I bring to collaborative engineering.
