By God's grace, I model the character of Christ in my work while providing exemplary stewardship of the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s financial resources. I’m a highly experienced accounting and finance professional focused on financial management, treasury operations, accounting systems, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning.

As Under Treasurer (and through earlier roles as Associate Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Controller, and Chief Accountant) with the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists – East-Central Africa Division, I’ve managed cash flow and liquidity to keep operations uninterrupted, balanced operating accounts, and supported investment decisions aligned to denominational objectives. I maintain strong IFRS compliance, interpret the SDA Accounting Manual and SDA Financial Working Policies, and ensure regulatory compliance across relevant statutory requirements.

I’ve consistently strengthened finance through practical system-building—establishing effective accounting systems where inadequate systems previously existed—and by coordinating external audits with timely schedules, supporting documentation, and responses to audit inquiries. I also lead policy work, drafting, reviewing, and developing church financial policy documents, including localized provisions and adaptations for the East-Central Africa Division operating environment.

Earlier, as Chief Accountant and Senior Accountant, I led accounting department operations, supervised payroll administration, fixed asset management, inventory control, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, and trained accountants to support strong audit readiness. I’m recognized for building collaborative relationships, mentoring staff, and creating an environment where employees can demonstrate their strengths and reach their full potential.
