Isaiah Xavier

I am a recent Diploma graduate in Electronic Engineering (Computer) from Politeknik Kota Kinabalu with strong hands-on experience building embedded prototypes and applying computer vision. My final year project involved training a custom YOLOv8 model and integrating EasyOCR and OpenCV on a Raspberry Pi 4 to deliver a working license-plate recognition and automated gate-control prototype, achieving 100% detection and 93% OCR accuracy in well-lit conditions.

During an internship at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation Sabah I configured Raspberry Pi systems for remote monitoring, provided on-site technical support at major events, and diagnosed hardware and network issues. I bring practical skills in C/C++, Python, GPIO and serial communication, PCB prototyping, network configuration, and a proven ability to troubleshoot and deliver reliable solutions.
