I’m looking for a mission-driven finance role where I can run nonprofit accounting and grant reimbursement, automate recurring workflows, and strengthen internal controls—partnering closely with leadership and stepping in as needed to support controller-level decisions.

I’m an Accounting Manager experienced in managing nonprofit accounting operations, grant-funded accounting and reimbursement administration, payroll, financial reporting, and accounting systems for a state-funded nonprofit. I focus on improving efficiency, strengthening internal controls, and supporting executive leadership, including serving as backup to the Controller.

In my current role, I keep the books using double-entry accounting, process company-wide payroll and tax withholdings, and prepare monthly reimbursement requests supporting a $60 million annual budget. I guide annual auditors through internal control processes, train staff on timesheet and expense report software, and coordinate with billing software specialists to improve reporting—while automating lengthy monthly subcontractor billing procedures from 4 hours to a few minutes.

I’ve also pioneered financial data migration and financial digitization, and I’ve applied GAAP to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports as a Staff Accountant. Earlier experience includes owning accounting processes across multiple organizations and supporting tax preparation work through an Accounting Internship, along with ongoing strengths in staff training, documentation, and internal policy drafting.
