Isabel Rugo

I’m a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care across medical-surgical, primary healthcare, and maternal-child health settings. I’m licensed by both the Nursing Council of Kenya and the Montana Board of Nursing (USA), and I bring strong skills in patient assessment, clinical documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

In my current role at Tigoni Level 4 Hospital (Medical-Surgical Unit), I deliver comprehensive nursing care for a busy referral hospital—monitoring and assessing patients, administering medications and IV therapy, providing oxygen therapy and blood transfusions, and supporting pre- and post-operative care. Previously, at Ngecha Health Centre, I led triage and emergency nursing care while delivering maternal and child health services, including labour and postnatal care, PMTCT, IMCI, and cervical and breast cancer screening.
