What I'm looking for

I’m looking to grow as a clinical inpatient pharmacist, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient safety. I want responsibilities like medication optimization, medication reconciliation, and controlled-substance compliance, with room to keep learning.

I’m a Staff Pharmacist at New York Presbyterian–Westchester, where I verify and optimize inpatient medication orders by assessing drug–drug and drug–disease interactions, contraindications, renal/hepatic function, and overall therapeutic appropriateness.

I also serve as the narcotic pharmacist, overseeing controlled substance management through waste testing, discrepancy resolution, and inventory verification to prevent drug diversion and maintain compliance.

Alongside this, I support ER operations with medication reconciliations, code assistance, and guidance on optimal medication selection based on patient-specific factors like comorbidities and renal function.

My path includes APPE/IPPE rotations across pediatric inpatient care, HIV clinical support, corporate pharmacy services, and pharmacovigilance work reviewing adverse event profiles—strengthening how I communicate, collaborate in multidisciplinary rounds, and keep patient safety at the center.
