Iqra Ahmed Khan

I’m a disciplined, motivated healthcare professional with a demonstrated record of accomplishment in patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning across medical services, pediatrics, and routine OPDs. I work efficiently with colleagues in enabling environments, with a focus on clear communication, judgment, and patient counseling.

During my 1-year internship/house job at Dr. Ruth K. M. Pfau Civil Hospital, I gained hands-on clinical experience across Medical, Pediatric, Surgical, ENT, and Emergency settings. I conducted IV lines, evaluated patients and made treatment plans, assisted with lumbar puncture and newborn resuscitation, performed abscess drainage and laceration repair, and carried out minor ENT procedures while supporting numerous OPDs and surgical assistance.

Beyond clinical training, I’ve served as a Medical Officer in healthcare services with an NGO and worked as a Research Assistant related to breast cancer evaluation. I’m currently undergoing MCPS training in Family Medicine at KMU (2025-2027), and I’m especially keen to provide basic primary care while spreading awareness for communicable and non-communicable diseases, including cancer screening programs such as mammogram and cervical cancer.
