Mubbashir Athar

I am a Medical Doctor currently undertaking House Job training, bringing strong clinical competence, research experience, leadership, and community engagement to patient-centered care. I focus on delivering meaningful contributions and advancing healthcare through impactful effort.

At Pakistan Naval Hospital PNS HAFEEZ in Islamabad, I have assisted with general surgery ward rounds and perioperative patient assessment. I also gained experience in giving spinal and general anaesthesia, along with airway management, exposure to outpatient ophthalmology clinics, and assessment of otorhinolaryngology disorders across outpatient and inpatient settings.

My clinical exposure includes family medicine and medicine clinical electives, where I observed OPD operations, managed patient flow, took patient histories, and performed physical examinations under supervision. I also assisted with patient admissions, documented medical histories, and supported evidence based clinical decision-making with senior physicians.

I co-authored and contributed to research and manuscript writing for studies on menstrual health literacy, hearing aid usage satisfaction, and smartphone addiction with thumb and wrist pain among medical students. I’m also actively involved in leadership and public engagement through roles such as Co-founder and Vice President positions, and I carry certifications from Aga Khan University and WHO-organized initiatives to strengthen my clinical and research foundation.
