Ioana-Elena Ene

I am a Romanian mathematician, analyst, analyst-programmer, and Scientific Researcher III at the National Institute for Reasearch and Development in Informatics, Bucharest. Since 1982, I have led and delivered research and applied informatics work, including designing Decision Support Systems and informatic systems for industry, finance, and culture. I bring a rigorous, accuracy-first approach to research design, evaluation, and implementation.

As project manager for more than 50 research projects, I designed multimedia systems and developed and implemented eLearning projects. I also developed applications in incidents management and security optimisation, performed research in chaos theory algorithms, and designed and implemented algorithms for optimizing dynamical systems. I have taught modelling and optimisation courses, wrote research articles, and participated in scientific conferences and workshops, and I continue to expand my applied experience through data annotation and QA work on platforms like RWS and Appen.
