I am a studio artist with a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a minor in Cognitive Science from Swarthmore College. My coursework included a range of art history and studio art classes, focusing on modern art, the Russian Avant-Garde, Latin American art, and more. I have also participated in prestigious art residencies, including the Mount Gretna School of Art Summer Residency.
In terms of work experience, I have served as a Studio Assistant at BDDW/Tyler Hays Studios, where I collaborated on large and small-scale puzzles, painted ceramics, and engraved bronze furniture. I also worked as a Screen-printing Apprentice at the Fabric Workshop and Museum, where I learned to hand-print repeat patterns on fabric and mixed custom colors of fabric paint. Additionally, I have experience as a Tutor and Art Portfolio Mentor, helping high school students improve their art portfolios and providing tutoring in various subjects. I have also worked as a Junior Counselor at Camp Kahdalea, where I assisted with outdoor activities and the well-being of campers.
During my time at Swarthmore College, I interned at the List Gallery, assisting with the curatorial process and creating an online virtual gallery tour. I also served as a Resident Assistant, ensuring the safety and well-being of a residence hall community. As an Extern under the mentorship of Judy Bartella at George School, I gained experience in classroom management and taught a figure drawing class.
