What I'm looking for

I’m looking to coordinate organ placement and procurement, collaborating with transplant centers to ensure compliant donor management, logistics, and clear communication—while strengthening donor education, training, and patient safety.

I coordinate the allocation of gifted organs and ensure compliance with CMS, OPO, OPTN and hospital policies, including brain dead, donation after circulatory death (DCD) and normothermic regional perfusion (NRP) DCD pathways. I collaborate closely with leadership, transplant centers and hospital staff to support donor management and maximize organ suitability.

I review donor charts, verify requirements before executing the deceased donor match run, and provide accurate medical information to transplant centers in accordance with OPTN policies. I manage recovery logistics, transportation, surgical teams, and biopsies, working with donor databases such as iTransplant and DonorNet, and providing training and peer coaching for new hires as assigned.

Before this, I served as an Organ Procurement Coordinator (Preservationist) and as a Certified Surgical Technologist, supporting complex cardiac and vascular procedures with strong aseptic technique and patient-safety focus. My background also includes Certified Registered Pharmacy Technician experience, including sterile products, IV admixtures, and controlled substances—skills that reinforce my attention to detail, compliance, and rapid response readiness.
