I’m a Biology graduate with a strong focus on bioinformatics and genomic data analysis, including transcriptomics using R/Bioconductor and hands-on exposure to NGS data workflows. I’m currently supporting Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) research operations while independently strengthening my Bash scripting and analysis skills in a Linux environment.

In my current Research Administrator Intern role, I coordinate technical workflows for NGS research projects involving 80+ researchers, ensuring smooth multi-phase pipeline execution. I facilitate communication between research teams and external sequencing providers to improve turnaround time and data delivery accuracy, while managing and validating sample metadata and project documentation for reproducible, well-structured genomic research.

I also build end-to-end analyses independently—such as a WES variant analysis pipeline (quality control, trimming, alignment, variant calling) using Bash with FastQC, fastp, BWA, SAMtools, bcftools, and snpEff. My capstone work includes transcriptomics normalization and differential expression in R/Bioconductor, plus functional enrichment (GO & KEGG) to translate expression patterns into biological interpretation.
