At Nordstrom, I was the main developer on a Java and Spring Boot service that fed stock availability and finance, processing up to 1.2 million events a day with p95 under 150 ms. I replaced hard-coded processors with configuration-driven location pipelines and traced a recurring crash to Redis index sets, reducing peak memory use from 100% to about 23%.
At Global Payments, I built the core Quick Remit payment REST APIs and made them about 2.5× faster through query and indexing changes. I also built transaction-validation controls at Goldman Sachs, and I’m currently building Fittie, a multi-tenant gym management SaaS with two apps live on Google Play.
