I am Işık Sönmez, a dedicated MSc student in Communications Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, with a strong foundation in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University. My academic journey has been marked by hands-on projects, including cloud image segmentation using CNN and encrypted data traffic classification, which have honed my technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

During my internship at ASELSAN, I gained practical experience in embedded coding with C and C++, where I optimized a Scalar Navigation Library through vectorization techniques. Additionally, my role at Solveka Yazılım involved low-level programming and the development of innovative projects like a Smart Water Meter, showcasing my ability to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. I am passionate about leveraging technology to create impactful solutions in telecommunications and beyond.
