What I'm looking for

Data Scientist with an accounting and finance background seeking opportunities to build predictive models, automate analysis, and generate business insights. Interested in machine learning, fraud detection, financial analytics, and data-driven decision making in high-impact environments.

I am a Data Scientist and Certified Public Accountant with experience in financial analysis, business operations, and data-driven problem solving. I combine business knowledge with Python, SQL, Machine Learning, and data analytics to transform information into actionable insights and support better decision-making.

My technical background includes data cleaning, exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, predictive modeling, model evaluation, and data visualization. I am particularly interested in fraud detection, predictive analytics, financial intelligence, and business analytics.

As my final project at 4Geeks Academy, I developed an end-to-end fraud risk detection system, including data preprocessing, EDA, model training, evaluation, and deployment through an interactive application. The solution leveraged Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and XGBoost to estimate fraud probability using 12 key variables and provide interpretable results for decision-making.

In parallel, my experience as an Accountant has strengthened my analytical mindset through financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, payment coordination, and operational control. This combination of finance and data science allows me to bridge the gap between technical solutions and business impact.
