Ian Suarez

I’m a software developer in training with a genuine interest in applied artificial intelligence and language models. My journey started in technical support and systems, which gave me a practical foundation for understanding how things work from the ground up, and I channel that same curiosity into building software that uses OpenAI and Anthropic APIs.

I focus on making AI-based systems truly useful and reliable—starting with conversational history management, response validation, and error handling, then refining prompts to reduce hallucinations and keep outputs consistent. Alongside an LLM assistant project and a full CRUD web application (including database modeling and SQL), I bring hands-on experience from systems technician practice, and I’m currently deepening my skills in robust prompt design, handling unexpected response formats, and building agents that use external tools.
