What I'm looking for

I want to practice as a compassionate, evidence-based nurse with special focus on maternal, neonatal, and child health—supporting patient safety, comfort, and recovery while growing my clinical skills in a supportive team environment.

I am a Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya, with comprehensive clinical exposure across maternal and neonatal health, surgical, psychiatric, renal, and pediatric nursing. I bring empathy, precision, and teamwork to every shift, grounded in patient safety and compassionate care.

During my training through Kenya’s referral and county hospital settings, I strengthened my skills in obstetric emergencies, newborn resuscitation, and patient monitoring. In labour wards, I monitored the four stages of labour using a partograph, supported more than five deliveries, and managed conditions including PPH, shoulder dystocia, breech delivery, and perineal tear repair.

I also developed strong hands-on competence across the patient journey—from assessment and vital signs monitoring to targeted interventions like oxygen administration, IV cannulation, wound dressing, and catheterization. My placement experience includes maternal and child health clinics, newborn unit care (including kangaroo care, daily weighing, jaundice management, and NG tube feeding), and pediatrics where I administered ORS, drugs, nebulization, and oxygen.

Beyond nursing care, I contributed to public health nursing through antenatal care, birth preparedness education, vaccine administration, cold chain and ADR management, and child growth monitoring. I am excited to continue practicing as a professional nurse with a special focus on maternal, neonatal, and child health, while staying open to opportunities across all clinical fields.
