I’m a backend-focused software engineer with 1.5 years of hands-on experience designing and building scalable server-side applications. I’m passionate about writing clean, efficient code and delivering robust solutions, and I’m currently advancing my skills through the Semicolon Africa software engineering programme.

In my role as a Backend Software Engineer (Collaborative Project) with Cytra, I co-developed a full-stack cycle tracking mobile application from concept to deployment. I designed and implemented backend APIs using Java and Spring Boot for user data, notifications, and cycle predictions, and integrated database solutions to securely store and manage sensitive user health data while collaborating using Git and version control best practices.

Beyond work, I’ve built and contributed to backend-oriented projects like Chat Application (real-time chat with authentication, messaging, and WebSocket integration) and GoRide (ride-hailing with seamless booking and trip management backed by robust architecture). I work comfortably across relational and non-relational databases and I enjoy collaborating as a team player with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
