I’m a Staff Engineer and former CTO who builds software where correctness, reliability, and auditability aren’t optional. I’ve led technical direction end to end—owning architecture and modernizing platforms so engineering decisions directly support business outcomes.
At NoCartorio.com, I founded and guided the evolution of a unified SaaS platform for Brazil’s extrajudicial notary services. I engineered integrations across national registry and judicial systems, with built-in auditability that traces the provenance of every record entered.
I also re-architected a monolith into distributed services, taking the product from MVP to a production system built for sustained growth. I designed zero-downtime onboarding so notaries could migrate without interrupting their operations, while enabling continuous delivery and ongoing refinement of notary data.
Earlier, I built a mobile driver-tracking system around Baidu Maps and delivered reliable background location capture with authentication and trajectory storage. I also worked on security-monitoring systems spanning network traffic analysis, Snort-based intrusion detection, and syslog event ingestion—plus MapReduce reporting pipelines over time-partitioned MongoDB data.
