I am Hrushikesh Chavan, a dedicated professional with over 17 years of experience in the fields of Remote Sensing, GIS, and disaster management. My journey began with a Post Graduate Diploma in Geo-Hazard from the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, followed by a significant role at the Science & Technology Park in Pune, where I currently serve as a Project Manager. My expertise lies in satellite-based flood crisis management, emergency operation centers, and decision support systems.

Throughout my career, I have successfully led numerous projects aimed at enhancing disaster response and management capabilities. Notably, I played a pivotal role during the Koshi River Flood Disaster in 2008, where my contributions were recognized by the Chief Minister of Bihar for outstanding performance. My work has not only supported local governments but also international organizations, ensuring timely humanitarian assistance during crises.
