I’m a GIS & Remote Sensing professional with 5 years of experience supporting national-scale integrated water resources planning at the National Water Development Agency (NWDA), Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India. I focus on turning satellite and terrain data into practical, decision-ready geospatial products for government programmes.

In my work, I process multi-temporal optical and SAR imagery, DEMs, and hydro-meteorological datasets (IMD, ERA5, CHIRPS, TRMM, NetCDF) to support hydrological assessments, terrain analysis, watershed management, and groundwater potential mapping. I use Google Earth Engine (GEE), ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap, QGIS, ERDAS IMAGINE, and SNAP to deliver reliable analysis workflows and consistent outputs.

I also lead DEM-based terrain analysis and watershed delineation—contour generation, longitudinal and cross-sectional profiling—and integrate rainfall, drainage, land use, and groundwater layers for hydrogeospatial assessments. From water balance support to command area and canal alignment studies, I apply methods like Thiessen Polygon for Weighted Mean Rainfall (WMR) and produce high-quality thematic maps.

I develop and maintain GIS databases for planning and feasibility needs, and I’ve produced more than 100 GIS and engineering maps for feasibility studies and Detailed Project Reports (DPRs). I’m driven by cross-functional collaboration and clear technical reporting, and I contribute through peer-reviewed publications and scientific writing.
