Hilda Karimi

I’m a Community Health Officer trained at AMREF International University, with practical field experience at Kiritiri Health Centre. I bring a strong foundation in maternal and child health, preventive healthcare, and community outreach.

In my Community Health Officer Intern role, I supported antenatal care follow-ups to ensure continuity of care and safe pregnancy monitoring. I also monitored children’s growth and development through regular measurements and records.

I’m especially focused on strengthening health promotion at the community level. I conducted home visits to provide health education, encouraged parents on the importance of child immunization, and participated in monthly meetings with Community Health Promoters (CHPs) to discuss community health challenges.

I take pride in accurate documentation and data-driven reporting. I maintained health records and supported data collection for reporting and decision-making, and I’m ready to help improve healthcare systems by combining effective health promotion, disease surveillance, and patient-centered care.
