I’m looking for a role where I can combine journalism with language expertise—covering stories with strong ethical standards while supporting cross-cultural communication through interpretation, translation, and training-minded collaboration.

Versatile education, media, and language professional with over 20 years of international experience in teaching, journalism, editing, translation, and cross-cultural communication. I’m recognized for professionalism, leadership, and excellent communication skills.

I research, write, and edit news stories, feature articles, and human-interest pieces at Nation Media Group (2014 – Present). I conduct interviews with a wide range of sources while ensuring accuracy, fairness, and ethical reporting, and I collaborate with editors and multimedia teams to produce content across print and digital platforms.

I also provide Korean-English interpretation and translation as a Korean Translator / Interpreter at the Kenyan High Court (2011 – Present). I facilitate effective communication between Korean-speaking clients and legal professionals, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality when translating legal documents.

Earlier, I built strong educational leadership foundations through English language instruction and curriculum development in South Korea (2003 – 2010). As Foreign Head Teacher, I supervised academic programs, mentored new teachers, and helped improve teaching standards through curriculum enhancement, while successfully recruiting qualified international teachers.
