At FlyAnyTrip, I contributed to full-stack web application development, building React features and implementing the Node.js and Express.js backend logic that supported them. I also integrated REST APIs and worked with GCP and Docker in deployment workflows.
I built a payment retry pipeline with BullMQ-managed background workers that recovered about 30% of failed transactions in a controlled test environment. I added idempotency keys, exponential backoff, and webhook signature verification to handle retries safely.
For a distributed job scheduling and monitoring platform, I designed a BullMQ queue backed by Redis and modeled job execution history in PostgreSQL. REST endpoints exposed queue and job metrics, while concurrency limits and priority scheduling helped manage task execution.
I also built a URL-shortening REST API with MongoDB and Redis caching, reducing average redirect response time by about 35% in load testing. I was selected for Parul University's PIERC Incubation Program and received startup certification as Technical Co-Founder of Bookaway.
