At Dirección General de Aduanas (DGA), I led the evolution of VUCE RD from a legacy module into an independent permitting platform used daily by thousands of users across government agencies and private businesses. I designed a configurable rules engine to support dynamic business validations without code changes, and I integrated the national electronic invoicing API (DGII) to enable compliant digital billing at scale.

I also improved performance and reliability by optimizing critical SQL queries, reducing response times from 15 seconds to under 1 second for high-traffic workflows. On the frontend, I implemented microfrontend architecture (single-spa, Vue) enabling independent deployments across teams with minimal cross-application impact.
