Heather Evans

I’m an experienced educator and professional with 18 years of experience in mathematics education, academic leadership, administration, and technology. I hold a B.S. in Mathematics and have worked in public, private, and homeschool settings, teaching subjects ranging from Algebra and Geometry to Calculus, Physics, and Chemistry.

Throughout my career, I’ve developed strong skills in communication, organization, problem-solving, project coordination, and working independently. In addition to teaching, I have served as a high school lead teacher, overseeing curriculum planning, teacher support, student scheduling, accreditation projects, and academic and disciplinary concerns. I also have experience with accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and payroll taxes.

I’m comfortable learning new technology and have extensive experience with tools including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Canva, QuickBooks, Desmos, and other online platforms. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, adaptable, and enjoy finding practical solutions to challenges. I’m now looking to bring my experience and transferable skills into a remote role where I can contribute to a team, learn new skills, and make a meaningful impact.
