What I'm looking for

I am seeking a hospital nursing role where I can build hands-on clinical skills, work within multidisciplinary teams, and deliver evidence-based patient care while preparing for NCLEX licensure.

I am a second-degree nursing student at Rutgers University School of Nursing with clinical rotations across acute care and pediatric settings. I bring direct patient-care experience from student nurse placements and internships, grounded in assessment, medication administration, and vital-sign monitoring.

During clinical rotations at Englewood Hospital, Newark Beth Israel Children’s Hospital, and RWJ New Brunswick, I performed head-to-toe assessments, routine vital signs, glucose monitoring, IV priming, and assisted with bathing and ADLs under instructor and preceptor supervision. I have practiced therapeutic communication tailored to pediatric patients and supported safe medication administration, including NG tube feedings and SubQ injections.

My earlier roles in healthcare-adjacent positions—internship at AMP Physical Therapy and front desk receptionist at CK Endocrinology—strengthened my patient-evaluation observation skills, familiarity with EHRs (iClinic), insurance checks, and payment processing. These experiences improved my clinical workflow awareness and patient-facing communication.

I am bilingual in Korean and English, hold BLS certification, and am preparing for NCLEX licensure. I am seeking opportunities in hospital settings to continue developing foundational nursing skills and contribute to multidisciplinary teams focused on high-quality, evidence-based care.
