What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a Registered Nurse position where I can deliver safe, compassionate patient care, support patients with ADLs, learn in a clinical team, and use my EPIC training and supervised experience to improve outcomes.

I’m pursuing employment with Wellspan York Hospital as a Registered Nurse, backed by an Associate Degree in Nursing (graduation May 2021) from Harrisburg Area Community College. I’m BLS & First Aid Certified, and I keep patient safety and integrity at the center of how I work.

Since December 2019, I’ve worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Wellspan York Hospital, assisting residents safely with activities of daily living. I help with bathing/showering and dressing, promptly answer call bells, and turn and reposition patients using safe body mechanics to maintain safety.

Previously, I served as a Certified Nursing Assistant (May 2019–October 2020) at Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community and as a Certified Nursing Assistant / Med Tech (December 2017–May 2019) at Homewood at Plum Creek. In these roles, I supported ADLs, monitored vital signs prior to medication, checked correct dosages, and distributed medications to the correct resident while documenting care.

Through a Nursing Summer Externship at Wellspan York Hospital and clinical sites including Medical Surgical, Labor and Delivery, Behavioral Health, and nursing rotations, I collaborated with nursing staff to monitor, assess, and plan accordingly between 2–5 patients. I also completed EPIC electronic medical record training, document patient care under supervision, and report any adverse effects; I aim to cultivate strong relationships with patients to achieve optimal care.
