I’m looking to lead deep-tech R&D in luminescent/optoelectronic materials—focused on photostability, sustainability, and scalable prototypes—while collaborating across disciplines and ensuring rigorous safety and process optimization.

I’m an innovative materials scientist and synthetic organic chemist with over 9 years of research experience synthesizing luminescent functional materials for OLEDs, bioimaging, security inks, anti-counterfeiting, and photocatalysts. I focus on turning early-stage concepts into scalable prototypes by optimizing synthetic pathways and improving material performance for deep-tech environments.

My work centers on optoelectronic and photochemical design—especially structure–function relationships for TADF and phosphorescence materials. I’ve extended phosphorescence lifetimes to 700 ms, developed an invisible security ink with enhanced lifetime (above 200 ms), and improved photostability by 200% by mapping degradation pathways and redesigning reactive sites.

In my postdoctoral roles, I delivered high-yield (>60%) light-absorbing organometallic photocatalysts and stability-enhanced luminescent materials, pushing operational lifetimes from hours to 48+ hours. I also supported cost-effective scale-up of bismuth-based semiconductor materials (40–60% yields), advanced photoactive formulations for printing-relevant technology, and led interdisciplinary R&D portfolios valued at £1M–£2M+.
