Harry Chilikumwendo

I’m a Biological Sciences graduate with hands-on experience in laboratory sciences, research support, environmental studies, and management. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Conservation Biology, driven by sustainable development, scientific innovation, and quality control. I bring strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and I adapt quickly to new scientific and administrative demands.

In my role as an Adjunct Laboratory Assistant, I supported undergraduate laboratory sessions by preparing and setting up equipment, leading laboratory demonstrations, and guiding students through experiments. I also enforced laboratory safety protocols (including hazardous waste disposal), maintained and calibrated laboratory instruments for accuracy, monitored inventory and restocked materials, and evaluated and graded assignments and examinations.

Previously, as an Academic Intern in Biology, I supported laboratory practicals and demonstrations, helped lecturers prepare teaching materials and grading, and ensured compliance with safety and cleanliness standards. I also performed quality assurance and moderation exercises. Earlier, as a Data Entry Technician for a preparatory survey, I scanned and digitized documents, entered data into Microsoft Excel databases, conducted quality control checks to verify accuracy, identified inconsistencies and errors, and recorded key observations—work that strengthened my attention to detail and data integrity.
