At FMX, I coordinate federated architectural and MEP Revit models in Navisworks, checking electrical, mechanical, and structural elements for clashes and tracking issues with design teams.

I review electrical models against construction documents and set shared coordinates so discipline models align. I also wrote FMX’s BIM standards for model setup, naming, required parameters, and LOD requirements.

As an FMX BIM Modeler, I translated client DWG drawings into Revit building and equipment models, including electrical panels. I standardized equipment families and parameters, checked incoming models, and wrote Python scripts to validate model and equipment data.

On my independent industrial facility project, I modeled electrical distribution, cable tray, and conduit, then used Navisworks clash detection to check the model against structural steel and process piping. I issued sheets with power plans, cable tray layouts, an enlarged electrical room plan, and equipment schedules.
