At Paysys Labs, I architected and scaled a Merchant Management System supporting more than 1,000,000 active merchants across large-scale payment aggregators.
I led backend delivery for white-label merchant banking applications used by National Bank of Pakistan, Faysal Bank, Allied Bank, and Bank of Punjab. My work includes digital merchant onboarding, SoftPOS, mPOS, Raast integrations, and ISO 8583-compliant banking integrations.
I modernized legacy monoliths to Java 21 and Spring Boot, and optimized PayApp backend services to reduce transaction response times from 2–3 minutes to under one second. I also built utility bill payment, settlement, refund automation, and bulk-import capabilities.
I lead engineers through the full SDLC using TDD and CI/CD, working across Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Flowable BPMN, Oracle, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Docker. I also write technical guides on integrating Flowable with Spring Boot.
