At Clemson University, I taught undergraduate statistical computing in R and JMP and provided quantitative consulting on data preprocessing, statistical modeling, and debugging. I also mentored graduate students on technical reports and programming projects.
At the Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Peradeniya, I analyzed clinical and biomedical research datasets using R and SPSS. I advised on study design, sample size, and analytical methods, and co-authored biomedical research publications.
At the Centre for Defense Research and Development, I developed a Python NLP pipeline to classify news and designed graph analytics and network clustering approaches for social media data. My work focused on extracting patterns from text and relationships.
My projects include estimating latent structures with EM and gradient-based optimization, analyzing spatial point processes, and modeling longitudinal housing data. I use statistical methods and machine learning to investigate complex datasets and evaluate model performance.
