Hannah Gilliland
@hannahgilliland
Registered Nurse specializing in oncology, leukemia care, and stem cell therapies with strong remote triage skills.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Registered Nurse focused on oncology and hematology care, currently working in travel roles with MUSC’s Leukemia Outpatient Clinic and UCHealth’s Stem Cell Inpatient unit. I conduct in-clinic and virtual triage via MyChart, assess symptoms, and help guide patients to the right level of care while coordinating timely interventions.
From January 2022 to June 2025 at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, I delivered care to acute leukemia and transplant patients with complex needs and built strong assessment and clinical judgment skills. I also served as Charge Nurse—prioritizing workflow, delegating tasks, and supporting team communication—and partnered with Sarah Cannon Network to improve patient education materials.
Before that, I gained hands-on experience as an Oncology Nurse Extern, supporting vitals monitoring and intake/output tracking and assisting during acute and end-of-life care. Across my roles, I administer chemotherapy and supportive therapies, assist in sterile procedures, manage complications and transitions of care, and provide clear patient education backed by EPIC and Meditech experience, with BLS/ACLS and NIHSS certifications.
