What I'm looking for
I’m a motivated cybersecurity and network professional with hands-on experience across NOC operations, service desk support, and security analysis. I combine network reliability work—especially fiber optic circuits and subsea cables—with incident-focused cybersecurity monitoring.
In a 24/7/365 environment at Telecoms at Aquacomms, I monitored and managed three subsea cables in the US, UK, and Denmark, troubleshooting cross-connects and tails to maintain optimal performance. I also supported building management systems and handled engineering dispatch through clear, customer-aligned communication.
At Newcastle University, I delivered 1st and 2nd line support while administering user access and securely managing services across Microsoft 365. I then progressed into a Security Analyst/Infrastructure Analyst role, responding to threats using Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender, triaging alerts, and supporting hardening and patching to reduce risk.
