What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an iOS/mobile team where I can own end-to-end features, debug tough performance and lifecycle issues, and build reliable real-time experiences with measurable impact.

I’m an iOS-focused mobile engineer with production experience delivering real-time communication systems, authentication flows, and performance-sensitive app features. I enjoy tracing complex issues across threading, lifecycle, and networking—then turning findings into measurable UI and reliability improvements.

At GimBooks (YC W21), I led purchase and refund voucher workflows end-to-end, spanning networking, state handling, and UI integration. I also investigated startup jank using Instruments and Time Profiler, found synchronous JSON decoding on the main thread causing CPU spikes, and moved parsing off the main queue to restore responsive launch behavior.

I centralize secure authentication and token refresh/retry handling, support multi-user session invalidation, and extend a shared GimBooks Pay framework across apps with Keychain sharing and deep-link routing. I’ve built biometric locking (Face ID with PIN fallback), implemented caching to cut redundant ledger requests by ~60%, and delivered real-time messaging and video calling using WebRTC and WebSocket signaling during my internship.
