What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a position that combines my science and technology skills to leverage a career in geospatial information systems—where I can tackle complex tasks, work as a team-player, and learn quickly while improving map accuracy and data quality.

I’m a Kennesaw State University graduate with a B.S. in Geospatial Sciences (concentration in Human Environmental Science). I’m seeking a role in the geospatial information systems arena where I can combine my science and technology skills with a strong work ethic and fast learning.

As an Entry-Level GIS Technician (remote), I updated and maintained geospatial databases, added new utility lines/city parcels, and traced features from aerial imagery or lidar to create digital shapes. I designed high-quality cartographic maps, performed data integrity and data quality assurance checks, and resolved conflicting or missing information by aligning digital maps with ground locations using GPS and survey data.

Previously, I supported GIS work in the Atlanta Public Schools Planning & GIS Division by using GIS data for school zones, walk zones, facilities, and spatial analysis tied to transportation vehicles and staff. I also bring IT experience from imaging and inventorying Chromebooks (100,000 units), testing classroom network functionality, and installing/terminating/troubleshooting CAT5/CAT6 network and voice cabling.
