What I'm looking for

I want to use my Kikuyu, Swahili, and English skills to deliver accurate localization and translation, support AI language training, and help people learn languages through culturally aware content.

I’m a Community Development graduate and an experienced clerk who has supported documentation, record keeping, and day-to-day administrative needs at an Area Chief’s Office. In community-facing work, I communicate confidently in Kikuyu, Swahili, and English, bringing strong organization and accuracy to every interaction.

I’m also deeply passionate about preserving and teaching Kikuyu for younger generations. As a self-initiated Kikuyu Language Instructor, I teach reading, writing, and speaking, and I create simple learning materials that make language use practical and engaging.

I’m now seeking to apply my language and cultural knowledge in localization, translation, and AI language training roles. With a background in translation validation, language teaching, and cultural context adaptation—alongside computer applications and Microsoft Office—I’m ready to contribute high-quality language support with attention to detail.
