I’m an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) cadet with a B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and targeted maritime training, including STCW, high voltage, and oil & chemical tanker certifications. I bring deep expertise in marine electrical systems and a disciplined approach to compliance with industry standards.

During my BW Shipping experience, I performed testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of CBs, relays, control panels, and power distribution systems onboard marine vessels. I conducted insulation resistance Megger testing, continuity and functional tests, and electrical fault diagnosis for motors, generators, transformers, and switchboards—while also supporting motor overhauling, bearing replacement, rewinding support, and post-maintenance testing. I worked with P&ID, skids, cable tray, wiring and interconnecting diagrams, and provided technical clarification to ensure safe, compliant electrical design. I also gained hands-on experience with electrical safety procedures including LOTO, safe isolation, and permit-to-work systems, and supported installation activities for 2 VFD panels and hydroponics automation.

My technical strengths extend into automation and modeling. In my final year project, I designed and implemented a Modified PI Controller in MATLAB/Simulink with anti-windup for constant-current charging using transfer function analysis for a Buck converter and Lithium-Ion battery load dynamics. I’ve also delivered shipboard-style work such as Dual-Fan VFD System Installation (energy reduction via harmonic analysis across 10Hz–60Hz) and Automated Hydroponics System Design & Implementation using sensor calibration and automated dosing logic, backed by thorough technical documentation and troubleshooting logs.
