What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated undergraduate researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing a degree in Molecular & Cell Biology. My academic journey has been enriched by hands-on experiences in various research settings, where I have developed a strong foundation in laboratory techniques and scientific inquiry. I have collaborated with senior researchers at the Innovative Genomics Institute, focusing on microbiome gene-editing tools, which has deepened my understanding of genetic mechanisms and their applications in health.
In addition to my research endeavors, I am actively involved in community service as a Volunteer EMT with Rock Medicine, where I ensure the safety and health of attendees at various events. My commitment to public health is further demonstrated through my participation in the Harm Reduction Expansion Project, where I educate peers about opioid overdose prevention. I believe in the importance of bridging science and community health, and I strive to make a positive impact through my work.
