What I'm looking for
I’m a Finance & Accounting Consultant with 17+ years of progressive experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance. I’ve built my expertise through hands-on work at Oromia Construction Corporation, where I helped steer large-scale project finances with reliable, high-quality financial services.
In my current role as Project Finance Team Head (Mar 2014 – Present), I lead financial operations across complex construction projects—owning cash, cheque, and bank transfer transaction recording, preparing monthly financial statements and management reports, and maintaining strong bank reconciliation and ledger accuracy. I also manage payroll and taxes, including income tax calculations and pension fund processing, while enforcing budget and cost control through disciplined general ledger and project finance tracking.
I bring a strong ERP focus to every engagement. Since 2023, I implemented and operate the company’s ERP system across financial reporting, payroll, procurement, and project tracking modules, and I support stakeholders through financial guidance and administrative coordination using Peachtree Accounting and Microsoft tools. I’m now open to remote or on-site consulting work where accurate reporting, audit readiness, and actionable insights are non-negotiable.
