At JPMorgan Chase, I manage a five-engineer team responsible for SMS capabilities serving consumer banking customers, while staying involved in engineering and architecture. I designed a resilient multi-vendor platform that can fall back to another provider, and engineered event replay to reprocess failed events without restarting the application.
At Morningstar, I led the modernization of a legacy on-premises .NET platform to Java and Spring Boot on AWS. I designed the target cloud architecture and led four Senior Engineers through implementation.
Earlier, I engineered backend services and case-management capabilities at CSG International, and messaging pipelines and distributed systems at Rising Medical Solutions and Avanade. I’ve worked across Java, C#/.NET, Kafka, AWS, and relational and NoSQL databases in financial and enterprise environments.
